Thanks to everyone for the kind comments. I am not sure how to or if I can reply to the questions.

About the front legs / posts, I don't own a lath so I asked a friend near Northgate to turn them for me. That is about the only tool he owns. I did the rest including the mortise and tenon work, and chamfering. I thought I was doing something wrong until I realized why everyone asked why I used Maple. They thought I was crazy because of how hard it is.

Oh - another Seattlite I see! Did you use hard or soft maple? Also, where did you get your wood from?
