Project Information
This was the first bookcase I have ever made, no plans just winged it. I used poplar due to budget constrictions. We ended up painting it with General Finishes "Driftwood" milk paint. I distressed the edges to give a contrast to the gray paint. I think it turned out ok, definitely some mistakes but it does what its intended to do, hold up books. Gotta love a woman who doesn't get mad at a pile of lumber as a gift!
