The first couple of pics are where are store my tools it is actually the basement. There is a 40" door in the 2nd pic next to the electrical panel box you can see the door that takes you into the garage. All my bigger machines are on casters so I can roll them into the garage. The next couple of pics are of the garage which is my actual woodworking area that I share with our car. At this point I use my shop vac for dust collection. It works pretty good. I do plan to upgrade asap. That little Onieda cyclone works pretty good at getting just about all the dust and the use of a dust mask is a necessity at this point. The garage is 12' x 25' the tool storage area is a bit smaller. The last pic is another part of the basement where I store lumber and some of my first tools that I will be selling soon. The plan is to save for a Band Saw, Drill Press, Dust Collection and Air Filtertration unit, Grinder, Stationary sander maybe turn my first TS into a disc sander. My hopefully not so distant future plans are to turn the basement or gargage or a combonation of both spaces into a dedicated shop. Right now I am currently doing research on sound proofing and ways to seal off fumes and dust so they won't go upstairs to my liviing area.

Vic, this is a pretty nice looking shop that you have put together. It looks like you have it organized well and have ample room to maneuver around in there. You also have a nice collection of tools to play with as well.

Thanks for the pictures. I enjoyed visiting your shop.

Hey thanks to all for coming to take a look. I am currently in the process of doing some upgrades to my shop. adding an 8×12' section (using part of the basement); the shop will then be in the form of an L, weatherizing adding; insulation and sealing it better using caulk and 4mm polythylene plastic (for extra dust and fume control) under walls and ceiling and paint too (the shop is an attachted garage that is attachted to the walk in basement). Also taking down the roll up garage door and almost done and ready to install 2 : 4'x 6.5' carriage style insulated doors, and putting about 6 or seven sets of 4' fluorescent shop lights. And I will be making ,a bit further down the road, room to park the car in its own spot so I will longer have to share. Yeeh hah! I will post some before and after pics of the shop in the near future.
Take Care everybody
