Thank you for your comment. I like to do alot of my work on white oak or anyother light wood I have lieing around. beleive it or not this is on the back of regular paneling. I had taken some paneling out of a trailor I lived in a few years ago and had stuck it back thinking it might come in handy sooner or later. I also find that luen works good for burning on also.

All my burnings are coated with two - three layers of 1/2 water and 1/2 elmers white glue mixed to get the depth I want, than I coat it with a spray laquer two to four layers for the final coat. The glue mixer gives the acual depth that I like to see on a finished piece.
