Keith, I don't feel particularly qualified to comment on your beautiful work but my opinion would be a a plain dark colored handle design. This piece is busy to the eye and a solid dark handle might balance that out.
Just a thought…you do beautiful work!

Beautiful handles. Adding handles would give you the best of both worlds. I agree with Tom above, dark handles would look great.

You did it again. You created a beautiful piece. I haven't done any lade work but I would like to start someday.
I wish you would show how you put all those pieces together. And post some or all of your work process. Because it's all Greek to me.

Tom, Bob and Dave I agree a dark wood for the handles would look good possibly the same wood as I have used on the top lip. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Hi James…..these two see photos above were created by parting off rings from these disks and glued them up by alternating them to form the bowl then turned it.

Hope this helps.
