Project Information

The first two desks were designed for my GF's daughters for their graduation. As soon as I posted them, I had two more people order one :) The third one is made I don't know what kind of wood it is. The stripes you see are in the wood naturally, I only rubbed some BLO on it to bring out the variations. It's a very soft wood with a lot of yellow grain in it. Anyone know what it might be?

George,

Your wood selection, design, and workmanship make those very attractive as well as practical. They look exceptionally sturdy. I made a lightweight one a while back that folds up to store. It can't hold a candle to yours! Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for all the comments! I had no idea these desks would be so popular. It seems like as soon as I'm done with one, I'm off to make another :) And that's fine by me :)
