Nice, What was your method for the spiral?

The spiral was set with a small saw cut, and then filed in with a couple of rasps on the lathe while holding it steady by hand. It took a pass to create the shape and depth, and a second with a 60 degree offset to widen and smooth out the spiral.

Nice. I like the tone changes on it too.
