I make stocks for Remington, Winchester, Savage, Mauser 98, & Mauser 96. I've got two stocks to carve tomorrow for Savage Short action varmint rifles. One is laminated with english walnut on the outside and two strips of black cherry and a center strip of walnut. The other is dark marble walnut on the outside with a tiger maple core.

How much would a stock for a Kimber M84 cost? Are they free floated and glass beded?

I said it not too long ago, and I will say it again…..fantastic work!!! I really think you nailed it with the Cooper forend design. It just looks solid, I can you sub-MOA in its near future.

Sorry, I don't have a pattern for a Kimber. I usually sell my stocks in unfinished condition. 90% of my customers are gunsmiths. Tomorrow, I'm sawing lumber for more stocks. I've got some cherry crotches that I can't wait to see what is inside the log!

I have a sizable collection of Winchester Model 70's, pre and post '64, safari grade, super grade, normal use, commemorative and collector pieces.

One of my favorite things on this earth is a Mod. 70 wearing a beautiful piece of hand crafted wood…like the ones you show here at Lumberjocks.

Arjay,

I have patterns for Remington 700's, 600's (both long & short) Savage (both long & short), and Winchester short action. I don't have a long action pattern for Winchester yet. (post 64, none for pre 64 actions), Mauser large ring and small ring. I've made several stocks for customers who have shipped me their stock and I've returned it with the stock I carved.

Approx, what would it run to inlet and left some what rough. This is an NS-522 .22 which would be roughly the size of an anschutz model 54. Along the lines of what you have at the top of this thread/
