Project Information

I have made a good deal of knifes the resent years, they have been good scale objects for my last small workshop.
I will try when I get the time to put some pictures and how to about how to make them, if somebody should be interested.
They are all my own designs, the blades are manly handmade (not by me), and the leather work are also by me.

Beautiful work - anyone would be very proud to own one. How are the blades made for you and what kind of steel?

Hi ,
Thank you for all the comments,
I'll try and make a lttle how to, and post some pictures next week.
The blades are all from different smiths, some of handforged carbon steeel, some are grinded from Sandvic and so on. I will try and post some more details if someone should be interested.
I have even bought some blades from US, even I had to pay a big tax…
On this link: you can see some more of my knifes:

very kewl knives. The fisherman's friend sheath is unique. I will have to remember that for some of my more challenging sheaths.

Beautiful knives and sheaths Mads. I think the Scandinavians in general have the best designs. My son would love the one with the fish shape.

Hej Stefang,
If you need help to make one it will be a pleasure to guide you, and supply some links.
It's a very revarding job to make a knife, but even more to use it after.
Best,
Mads

Wauuu Ike, you have been on a long tour then, thank you.
I am a child I think, deep inside a child, so I try to make things come alive.
For the knifes it's to listen to the blade, to give it the life it ask for, and this one wanted to be a fish, a sweet but sharp one.
Best of my thoughts,
Mads
