My garage woodshop is pretty small and shared by my car most of the time - I have to pull it into the driveway in order to do anything.

I'm still a beginner and still in the process of accumulating tools (isn't everyone?) but the centerpiece of my shop is a Ridgid R4512 table saw. I've had it for a month or two, and only really used it for one project thus far, and I can saw I am very pleased with its performance. The mobile base is essential for getting it in the right location once I get my car out of the way. I just have to clean up once I'm done every night!

Hopefully my next few tools (once I get started on the right project) will be a router, and a band saw. I'll have to figure out where to put these guys though as storing them in the garage may become tricky… Some reorganization may be neccessary. But once the car is out of the way I have plenty of room!

It looks like you are off to a pretty good start on your shop to me. Adding new tools to the shop is always an exciting time. Keep us posted on your shop upgrades.

Let me welcome you to LJs as well. It is good to have you on board as a member of the group.

Yes, those pesky cars. I didn't think ANYONE in VA kept their car in the garage. That looks like a very nice saw. Looks like a it has good quality fence bar. Turns out that's a very important part! I wonder why no one makes kits to "soup up your saw" - by improving the fence or the slider bars. (just thinking)
