Kitchen Cart
for my daughter's dorm room

Features:
  • 35" H x 16×28 Wide
  • Indiana Walnut, Tennessee Hard Maple, Baltic Birch ply
  • 1" thick hard maple cutting board top attached with hardware in a slot to accommodate expansions cross-grain
  • 6" deep drawer, half blind dovetailed, reversible (in case you like the wheels on the other side), blocks on open or close, lifts to remove
  • Adjustable middle shelf is Baltic birch ply trimmed in maple
  • Sliding dovetail front/rear rails with pocket hole screwed support beam
  • Half lap, doweled side rails
  • Wood wheels and adjustable feet for leveling
  • Food safe finishes (Howard Butcher Block for top, shellac elsewhere)
  • Utensil or pan or towel hooks (three under top on each side rail)
  • Converts to a strong hand cart for use on moving day (install shelf vertically above wheels and tip top towards wheels to approximately 45 degrees)

Very nice. I'm a little older (67), but willing to be adopted (and kept far away if you prefer).
