Project Information
I have a customer that just loves these pens and has ordered a number of them in the past to give as gifts. When they were discounted I did not think I would get any more. But WC had them in their Clearance section online and I called the local store to see if they could order. The kit is Inertia and they open and close by just flicking the pen with your wrist. The colors have presented me with a fun challenges in the past to find the right woods to go with them. As you can see here I used a good bit of Colorwood and some resin stabilized stuff, really need to get my own stabilizing set up put together.
The first pic is a set I just completed assembling this morning, the 2nd pic is a set I delivered last month and found out he would like a few more if possible. The 3rd pic shows them on the rack waiting for final assembly.
The last pic is the one thing I hate the most about these kits. Every single piece is in a separate cellophane bag. The pen is easy to make and assemble and I love the results but not found of those stupid bags they static cling to everything and each kit has 4 of them, the tube is even in its own bag.
