Workshop Information

United States
My workshop is a room in the back of my detached garage. As indicated in my profile, I am very much a beginner with almost no experience. Likewise, I am also at the beginning of my quest to acquire tools and organize my shop. So far, most of my tools are small, inexpensive, used tools that I picked up from some guy selling them off before a move.

Shop size: about 12' x 20'

Power Tool Inventory:

Shop Tools:
1. Table Saw: Small Craftsman 10' Benchtop (already experience limitations by the small size of the table).
2. Router: Fixed Base Craftsman with very small benchtop table.
3. Drill Press: Tradesman Benchtop
4. Bandsaw: JET 14", 1 1/2 HP
5. Disc/Belt Sander: Grizzly

General Power Tools:
1. Jigsaw: Bosch 1587AVSP
2. Craftsman Orbital Sander
3. Cordless Drill: Porter Cable (very nice)

Other various "hand-me-down" tools include a Black and Decker Circular Saw and Drill.

I'll try to get some pictures up soon.

John good luck on setting up the workshop. Are you going to the Baltimore Woodworking show in Towson this weekend.
