Workshop Information

Location
United States
I started building my workshop early 2017. I am working out of a tiny (12×10) shed, which I believe is something like 8×12. The ceiling is also pitched, so I also have limited wall space. I have to run a 75' 12/3 extension cord from the (entirely ungrounded) house over to the shed. We're looking at moving so hopefully I'll have a shop with more space and real electricity soon.

I've moved, and now I have a two car garage. Much more space, but I need to organize it properly.

Currently I have:

  • Ridgid TS3650 (Used)
  • Bench Dog 40-102 Router Table Extension (new)
  • Incra V27 miter gauge
  • Bosch 1250DEVS 6" Sander (used)
  • Bosch ROS20VS 5" Sander (new)
  • Bosch 1617EVS Router (new) - I have this one mounted to the table because the height is easily adjustable from under the table
  • Bosch JS470E Jigsaw (used)
  • Porter-Cable 690LR Router (used) - I use this for freehand use when the trim router isn't enough juice, or if I am using a 1/2" bit
  • Makita RT0701C Trim Router (used)
  • Delta 22-560 Planer (used, works pretty nicely)
  • Small Bostitch compressor with 18 and 16 ga nailers.
  • Some ancient "Shop-Mate" vacuum/dust collector. Works pretty nice; used
  • Hazard Fraught Dovetail Jig
  • Delta 14-070 Drill Press (used)
  • Ridgid 6" Jointer (used)
  • Rikon 10-324 Bandsaw
  • Kufo Seco 3HP Dust Collector (Used)

Good Riddances:

  • Craftsman 12A Router
  • Hazard Fraught 8" Drill Press
  • Ridgid R4512
