Workshop Information

Location
United States
I have been away from woodworking for about 20 years. I had a new water well drilled and needed to build a new pump house. Well I was hooked again. I finished this shop about a month ago. It will be used mostly for segmented turnings. It features a bosch table saw, bosch router table, Jet 14" bandsaw with riser, Jet 16/42 vs wood lathe, rigid 13" planner, Delta drill press, Bosch 12 compound miter saw. The shop space is 12'by24".

Very nice and clean workshop with pretty cool machines. All machines look brand new and dustfree.
Take care and work safe.

Hi Jim,

You have a very neat well organized shop. And you have some nice toys to play with as well. The only problem that I can see it that there is no sawdust in there. Either you don't do any work in there or you have a stage crew (as Norm does) to come in and clean up after you. :)

Seriously you do have a nice shop in which to work. I would enjoy working in there.

Thanks for the post. I enjoyed visiting with you.

This looks really good, Jim. I see what you mean about the cabinets as an out-feed table. That looks like a great setup. Lots of space for assembly and storage. Looks like a fun shop to work in.

Jim,
Very nice layout. Now get that floor dirty. I think a lot of planning went into the layout in order to work efficiently.

Jim, That shed is way to clean and well organized….

Needs more sawdust and work in progress projects on the bench.

Love how much natural light you have in the shed,
but no insulation on the ceiling which wouldn't do downunder, too hot!!
