Workshop Information

United States
So my shop occupies our attached two-car garage. I am very organized, and everything has it's place. Has to, as this shop does still house my wife's car at night, the Harley, and the lawn equipment.

It also serves as my general man cave/rec room. After finishing up the cutting board yesterday and cleaning up, I sat back, watched some golf, and threw some darts!

The first photos up are of the "Shopsmith Corner", just got that organized last week as I wanted it. Working on refinishing my workbench tonight….a couple of weeks ago I had a little "mineral spirits incident"....left it on my nicely finished bench in a plastic cup! Woops…. Once i get the bench redone I will add those photos….

Threw in a picture of the other side of the garage as well.

My next goals are to build a 120 sg ft "garden cottage" (SHED) in the backyard for al of the yard stuff, mowers, edger, etc etc. Then i am going to insulate and finish out the garage with drywall, and get some paint on the ceiling and walls. I will post more pics as the progress occurs….

Nicely organized, and clean. Isn't it a shame that garages have to serve "other purposes".

Wow!! You were not kidding when you said organization was a high priority with you. This is one of the most organized shops I have seen. Bummer about the car and lawn equipment though. I am sure you would enjoy having the extra space to work in but I can well understand where you are coming from. I have often said that, if it came down to me or the car, I would be outside in the weather if I asked my wife to give up her garage space so that I could have a bigger shop.

Thanks for the pictures. I enjoyed taking a tour of your shop.

Now THAT is the kind of shop a Shopsmith was made for! Really nice execution!
