Workshop Information

Workshop 'details' indeed.

These are shipping crates used by Boeing to ship the engines for their 787 engines. They, apparently, come to South Carolina where they are used in final assembly of the 787 Dreamliner.

There's a fellow who buys the used shipping crates (these things are huge, 10×11x20 feet) He then resells them to folks and delivers them around the area with his slide off trailer.

multiboxsc.com is his website. Feller's name is Dave Victurine and he's in Mount Pleasant, SC Dave is a great guy as I've discovered through my dealings with him and no, I don't get a cut from him.

I bought two of these puppies, and set them on blocks. Then I bolted them together, papered 'em, roofed them and then commenced making doors and wiring and such.

I had no garage, no shed, so follow along if you wish as I learn my way with some new skills.

Additional pictures as I progress. This is truly a job of work I'll tell you.

This is the side with the large doors…

I'm LOVING it…

The other 'half' of the shop (the second 'box' joined to the first) is the walk in side. Big doors for moving big stuff in and a man door.

What a cool history your shop building has! Interested to see whow your shop ends up, pretty cool what you've been able to do so far.
