John, you have a nice shop space in which to work. I really like the wood floor that you have in there. That is so much easier to work on as opposed to concrete. It is nice to have a heated shop as well. With a wood stove in there I would bet that your "mistakes" help with keeping the heating bills down. :)

One thing that I think is almost universal with woodworkers is that they never have enough clamps or shop space. So your remodeling will probably be an ongoing project.

Thanks for the pictures. I enjoyed visiting with you.

Thank you sir and yes, the mistakes do heat well. =) It really doesn't take a lot of wood to work out there all afternoon. I have a steady wood supply from my son in law so it's cheap heat too. I do have an oil and a propane heater in there too but don't use them much unless I want to heat her in a hurry. I honestly think that clamps are the foremost thing we never have enough of….

I wish I had that wood stove in my shop. It's been a cold winter, and I've really been longing to get back into the shop. Drop me a line if you ever need anything. I live just a few miles away from you, and I'm always happy to help a fellow woodworker.

I like the classic wood stove - keeps you busy working wood just to accumulate the small pieces to feed it! Where's the coffee pot?

Looks like a comfortable place to work your passion John. The winter heat makes it more than warm. Heat in winter like where we live just makes it cozy. Sort of like looking outside and sticking your tongue out at the weather.

Now that one is beautiful! You even have a way to eliminate the evidence when you make a mistake (wood stove).
