Project Information

I have been working on a jewelry armoire recently (it's another abandoned project I found while cleaning my shop). I had originally abandoned it because of sloppy joinery.

I didn't use a backing board when I cut the box joints and there was a lot of chip-out.

Here is the finished product, along with a couple photos of it in progress.
I'm glad I decided not to abandon it after all.

If you are interested, I blogged about the process at http://lumberjocks.com/lumberjane/blog.

I too, like the design for the top and think that it is simple yet elegant.
I like the interior design as well…very spacious..my wife likes to make necklaces so this something i would like to make for her.

If I found anything this nice in my shop, I would wonder who broke in and left me a present!
