Project Information

I know I should be putting works in progress somewhere else, but could someone give mw some help in findingout where and how to post pics with the info.
The top of thentable is now ready to have the breadboards attached and these photos show the pedastal set up. The pegs for the mortises at the end of the center rail were cut using a domino at cut wifdth two, then two pieces of Jarrah were cut to size on a band saw and the edges rounded by sanding. The actual shape of the gbase and tops were taken from a website, which I shall give you when I can remember it! Behind the table, you can see some timber just lazing away, waiting for something to do. On top of the Kapex box is some White Beech and Sydney Blue Gum and standing up is a piece of US Cherry ( eith the blue dye) and a piece of nicely figured Australian Red Cedar. Don knows where the Beech and Cedar are going.

Rob

Rob,
nice table. If you push the blogs button on the tool bar it will tell you how to use the photo up-link and how to do blogs. Or you can push the "Add New".

I've also had good luck using Picasa as a photohosting solution. As I go through projects, I take a ton of pictures. Picasa has the option of just adding a caption to the picture. If you take a look at this project, I posted the final, but in the description linked to the Picasa album. If you get a chance, you can cruise that to see how I did it.

Also, Wayne's pointer at Don's blog is an excellent way of doing it as well.

The table is coming along great so far!
