It's a place, with tools, and you can create. Best shop ever! Welcome to Lumberjocks.

It is your spot. It will grow and improve as you want it to. Be happy and DO. However you are right. I hate three wheel BS. You will go broke buying blades if you use it often.

Welcome to Lumberjocks Ben.
I think this is how most of us started.
I had this crappy craftsman saw that my neighbor gave me. It was really bad but I didn't let that stop me.
I also had a 3 wheeled band saw that my wife's boss gave me.
I had a lot of fun and I learned a lot.

Wear your eye protection!

Thanks for all the encouragement!

So three wheeled is the problem with the band saw? The blade just wanders so much.

Like the others have said, we all started in a similar situation. I always said I started with C and D grade tools and have worked my way up. They are all gone now, but with better tools have more come age….I think I'd rather have the lesser tools back and only get up to pee once a night again!! You'll get there keep on pluggin away.
