There are a lot of different speces that are sometimes called ironwood. Which ironwood is this?

beautiful bowl chips ive done pens with desert ironwood as you know it takes a real nice shine.as for that thin bottom may be a problem may not,i did one almost excactly like yours but i left it and so far after a couple months no issue.

I believe this is desert ironwood.

Yeah I'm not sure it would hold water, but maybe it will. Regardless I think it's a very pretty bowl. Thanks
