This stool design was conceived with the intention of placing it in the entranceway for the purpose of shoe-wearing. The finished product is meant to be visually appealing when placed in a prominent location where it can be seen daily upon entering and exiting the house.
Creating this piece required a significant amount of time, as all the joinery was crafted by hand. I am quite satisfied with the precision of the finished product and overall proportions. If you're interested, I have a video recording documenting the making process.
