As with everything I work on, this took longer than I wanted it to, but at least I managed to finish this height chart for my daughter before she is able to stand! I made a custom adjustable jig to cut grooves every 3 inches for the ruler portion and I am quite happy with how that turned out. I am not happy with my stenciling abilities, however, let's just say they leave something to be desired. Some purple and black milk paint and a custom marking tool, and she'll know her height to within about an 1/8 inch! I must say, steel wool goes a long way to adding a nice aged sheen to milk paint. Thanks for looking, and thanks to all who have posted their height charts, as I drew most of my inspiration from this website.
