Project Information

I needed a couple of short stubby screwdrivers for attaching drawer pulls for my recent influx of gun rack projects, so I made a couple using an old screwdriver insert that I had lost the handle for and an old screwdriver bit for a drill. The handles were cut from a spindle that I had been using as a practice piece for getting used to my new to me lathe. I just cut off a piece of the spindle, drilled an appropriate sized hole in the end and inserted the tips. On the drill bit one it doesn't turn inside the handle because it's hexagon shaped and on the one the used to insert in a handle that took multiple tips, it had a flattened spot to stop it from turning, I just hammered it into the wood.

Necessity is the mother of invention. LOL. I just used some pieces I already had laying around for the handle so they aren't fancy but are functional.
