Project Information

Raise your hand if you've ever seen a piece like this one ;-) This is a traditional-form hockey stick rack, custom built to house a customer's 20-stick collection from the 2007 Ottawa Senators ice Hockey team. Locking bars prevent unwanted removal of the sticks. Solid birch and birch veneer plywood construction. Finish is a brushed nitrocellulose lacquer over an oil stain. Pegs are made from solid brass rods polished and sprayed with an acrylic clear finish to prevent oxidation. Painting done by my wife Johanne.

Great Job! I have a good friend that played Collage hockey and plays on a semi-pro team now with retired NHL players. Would love to learn more about this item. I also drank out of the Stanley Cup when my friend Brian Rolston won it with the devils. Pretty special.

Gotta say, that is a very nice stick rack… really the only improvement required would be to replace the sens logo with the canucks logo… otherwise, great stick rack…
very nice idea and thanks for posting… might have to build one of those for my sticks…

Very nice! Are plans available from you for this? I would love to have one of these for my Boston Bruins collection. Nice work, I've never seen a nicer one.
