Project Information
Over a few months, I made a group of hexagon shelves attached to a framed panel of boards arranged in a herringbone pattern. The whole thing is quite large: ~6ft. x 3ft. To make it easier to move, I designed the panel to be modular so it can break down into smaller pieces.
The hexagons are maple plywood with walnut edging and light housings. The panel and frame are made from pine.
I wrote a detailed Instructable about the project you can check out here
One of the hexagons features a Word Clock that I also made from scratch, but the Instructable mainly focuses on the woodworking aspect of this build.
