Another beautiful turning Dave. I like seeing the patterns that you create with the segments. And the woods you chose for this one really compliment each other. Well done.

Great looking bowl Dave. Whenever I've tried yellowheart I don't get enough yellow out of it. Seems to turn brown on me right away. This one is showing well.

Nice, Dave! Is this taller rings than usual, or more of them? Looks like a taller end result than most of your others.

Beautiful bowl. Nice color combination in the wood. Don't think I have seen yellow heart before.

Thank You Eric, very nice of you to say that.

Dave Many types of yellowheart/Satinwood with Satinwood being the most yellow and consistent IMO

Dave P Good eye, this was sawmill lumber and some times it finishes at almost 7/8 after planing.

Mr Wolfe thanks for mentioning that, I try to mix em up a bit!

gdaveg Thank You Check out Satinwood

PaulDoug thank you

BurleyBob It's surprisingly easy to do.

Pottz Thanks again for your comment

Beautiful, Excellent work. The contrast between the maple and Purple Heart are a great combination.
