This is a hand plane that I made from part that I purchased from knight-toolworks.com . The sides and are made of red oak, the sole and adjustable throat are made of ipe wood, the wedge is bloodwood, and on the ends they are padouck. Look at the iron it is 1/4" thick! This plane is a true pleasure to use! Enjoy.
