Nice! I have a vintage solid deck that was used In Lords of Dog town. did you try to cut your veneer with the band saw? I see you have clear grip. how deep Is your dip or bow when you press form the decks? have you thought about selling them? thanks! for posting.

Russ - this is the site where I ordered my Maple for the boards, and also the vacuum bag for applying the veneers. They have lots of great products and tips for board building. Good luck!

B13 - with the veneer, I made a template from masonite, traced on the shape, and cut it out with a razor blade before I applied it in the vacuum bag. The 'camber' of the decks is at about 1.5 inches if I remember correctly. I have sold most of the ones in the picture to my friends and other longboarders.

Nice boards man!! i been workin on one myself and bought some stuff called lucid grip to use on the top side. I didnt even think to use salt!! thats brilliant!!

How long are they? I have always wanted to make a longboard. Reminds me of when I made myself a street luge though it was just made form construction lumber
