Project Information

This is a quick and dirty hall table I had to complete in 24 hours. The top is an off cut from another project hence the grain direction. I attached the legs and apron with mortise and tenon joints. Finish is shellac, the legs were then painted after the seal coat was sanded. I sanded and waxed the top after 3 or 4 coats of sprayed shellac.

Nice looking quick project. The top looks like cherry, correct?

I really like this table. It has good proportions and is elegant. The dark legs show off the train and colour of the top.

Simple table but looks really good. Great combo on the natural top with painted legs. Great job!
