Project Information

Made a growler tote for one of my coworkers. It's is made out of curly maple and a curly walnut handle. Project is finished with sealcoat shellac and General Finishes HP polycrylic. I engraved a cut throat trout onto the front panel and used a light brown analine dye to make it stand out on the maple.

Russell, nice project with lots of features. The wood is beautiful. The cut corners are eye-catching. The engraving adds interest. Fine gift idea.

Thanks Boxguy, I was having a hard time making the design more interesting and less "bulky" looking. I was given a general plan of a growler holder of this style and tried to modify it in a pleasing way as best I could.
