Project Information

Made of plywood, SYP drawers and top, and iron on edge banding. Had the paint matched to my lathe at the BORG. Drawers are sliding dovetail. Poly finish on wood.
Features:
  • Double locking casters
  • Same height as table saw for stock support
  • Grinder is attached with T-NUTs in the top, clamps were only temporary
  • Oversized top for clamping on all size
  • Bottom drawers are tall enough for large bottles/cans of finishing products

My Grinder it set up the same way for chisel sharpening

WOW so much to like about this stand to grind on, and store your sharpening supplies. Having enough space on top to allow clamping and rigging as needed. Double use for the TS, as support. And it just looks so nice.

That is awesome…..I stared at it, thinking I need to build one of those for myself…..and just thinking….what if you put some screw inserts in the top and used a couple of those fancy plastic jig nut things to hold down your board the grinder is on…..
Just my .02 and that is all it's worth…..
