CHAOS!!! Unfortunately, I've been doing fairly well in acquiring tools over the last 5 years, but extremely poor in setting up my shop. It's a two car garage but has a dirt floor….so no sweeping possible. That said, I'm finally at the point of researching dust collection units and will hopefully have something by the end of the year. Maybe even a cement floor next year!??

Anyways, the main tools in my shop that see a lot of use are my planer (DeWalt) and my tablesaw (Craftsman Contractor style). I'm in to process of setting up a proper outfeed table to the TS and will hopefully be setting up a proper fence for the Compound Mitre Saw in the future.

Sorry, but no pictures until its set up properly…I'm too ashamed otherwise!

Gooch, everybody's got to start a shop somewhere. You'll get there so just be persistent. I was 55 years old before I finally enclosed my carport. Maybe pretty soon you can pour a concrete floor for yours.

Gooch, my first shop was under a 4×8 sheet of plywood nailed to an oak tree in my fathers back yard. My first tools were; a hand saw, a Stanly plane, a spoke shave, a pencil, a light bulb and my brain. Don't be ashamed be proud, you have passion.

Hey, Gooch, I built things for years in a shop 17' X 5'. Not enough room to change my alleged mind. Hang in there. "Non carbourundum illegitimus"
