Project Information

I made an arch for an old greenhouse. It supports the metal pipes and extends the frame 2'. Seems to be solid enough. The new cover is 7' x 12' x 7' high. The block base cuts out weed eating. Screening the rock and clay wasn't fun. Once the assembly was complete I removed half the support between the legs. I turned the small tapered pieces for the pipes to slide onto. There are 2 turnbuckles that pull the end pieces together. Hope to have some awesome tomatoes! All the wood is recycled.

Great job on the greenhouse arches. Planting my garden tomorrow and hope it stays warn enough not to harm it.
Always saying I'm gonna build something like this some day but that day never comes. Very nice set up.

Looks well engineered and crafted!

I like the way you did the arch curves. Economical with that pricey and rare wood, yet looks sturdy and elegant.

Thanks guys, and yes my wife loves it. She did all the painting and helped with most of it.
