The hybrid chair…a little more dainty !!! Using a combination of templates from my regular Adult plan and the Grandpa plan, the Grandma Chair has the same 19" seat width as my standard chairs, but the height and comfort of the Grandpa Chair, which has become my best seller since it was introduced in spring 2015. It hit 500 sales this week on Etsy, plus the sales from www.plansinwood.com and eBay. Many thanks to my loyal Customers for the repeat business as well.
At 5' 2", my wife complained that the regular chair seat was too long to fit her legs. This one is 18" deep and 17" high. Her feet are flat to the ground…and she can see over the railing !!! (second image) The narrower and lower back slats, also give it a lighter look.
