Frank, you've got my attention with those rockers! Where can we get the plans? I'd like to build a few. Thanks!

Randy… I searched for the plans on the NET & can't seem to find them anywhere now… If you send me your mailing address I'll make you some full size paterns off of the templates I made & mail them to you. The chair sides, seat & back are made from 1X12s & the rockers are made from 2X6s. The pieces are wider than a 1X12 so there is some gluing involved… That is unless you want to spend more for wood that is wider. I also found some good clear 2X10s real cheap at Lowes & ripped then down for the rockers. So as you can see there are lots of options in the wood that you can use.

By the way…. I now have 6 more of these rockers in progress & 4 of them are already "claimed" by someone.

These are so much like two that I built for my two daughters around 30 years ago. They loved theirs then just as much as your grandchildren love the ones that you have built for them now. You have done an excellent job on those chairs. Thanks for posting this.
