I love the huge smile and the upturned eyes. And the turned-in feet.

Beautiful. You get so much character and fun into your work. As for grandfather, there's obviously life in the old dog yet.

Looks like my grandfather, who was born in Odessa, Russia/Germany (depends on what date it was) and
moved to the USA and then Canada, then back to the USA, just could not set still. Is the bowl from
Oliver Twist, "Please sir, may I have some more.", or is he just caught red handed after the last of the
borscht disappeared? Really like all of your carvings, they keep bringing back memories, both real and
imagined. Thank you for sharing.
