Showcase cover image for Gradient Cutting Boards

Project Information

I made a pair of walnut and maple gradient cutting boards. I've seen a few variants of this online and wanted to give it a try.

I made one extra long cutting board with maple and walnut strips starting at 1/8" and increasing in 1/8" increments until 7/8". I cut a square portion off and turned it into a small round board with my bandsaw cutting jig.

I wrote a small tutorial for it on my blog.

Thanks for checking out my project! :)

I usually do not comment on cutting boards; but, these are so nice I have to.

Great looking boards, not the "same-old==same old" as many are.
