My first thought: Same as mine. But watching better there are personal differnece. Your boiler door is very nice with the extras. Well done sir.

Was this a kit or is your plans?? What type finish did you use on it?? Love these train projects. I have these saved to my favorite list and hopefully someday I can do one. Thanks for showing.

The plans are from Toys and Joys. I used a spray on acrylic sander sealer followed by an acrylic satin lacquer

Great job diggerd'... neat addition of the internals, which is sadly missing from the plans.

However, sorry for the negativity, but a train without tracks just reminds me of a duck without pants.

Were are the tracks?

Were are the carriages?

SURE A BEAUTIFUL LOCO DESERVES TRACKS AND CARRIAGES !

Tracks will be made for this which will be either the next job or after completing the tractor I am also building, As I have been building this a truck and tractor all at the same time

Except for the dowel work everything else was cut and turned from the solid. You can buy some of the parts but for me the postage costs from the USA makes them expensive, not only that but I enjoy working with all of my tools especially the lathe
