Ron,

A beautiful piece for sure. I am curious .. wood burned, colored, lacquer finish … does this mean you used all cherry wood, not a segmented piece with different woods? You burned in the lines for the shapes then colored in the segments with what?

7" refers to the height? How about the diameter?

Yes that is right The design was drawn on, woodburned in, then colored with India Ink Faber Castel Markers.
