Most Recent Chainsaw Carved Horse Head in Reclaimed Butternut Log

I heard about this tree coming down but didn't get to it until someone sawed it up into firewood lengths. I was still able to get one long enough to get this horse head out of. Looks great on the path into my house.

Man, don't you just hate it when they cut wonderful logs into almost unusable little hunks? I love the flow of the lines in your composition. Now, just a few dozen more trees and you can have one wicked chess set! ;-)
