I made this box for a wedding gift to my soon to be husband. This was my first attempt at hand sawn and chiseled dovetail joints. I definitely have even more respect for the woodworking veterans who can cut these so quickly with such accuracy…very difficult, indeed. Wood is maple. Wood burned a series of Game of Thrones symbols after using tracing paper to transfer the image to the wood. Finished with a red chestnut stain. Lined inside with black velvet.
