Thanks for all the comments I loved making this piece it was one of several for ArtPrize last year. On AAW members gallery and here it brings me the most hits but, no one will buy it for $ 100. I guess it will stay in my collection. My collection is mostly mistakes that I can not put for sale. LOL

This is fantastic. I'd love to hear more about how you "deconstructed" and "reconstructed" it. So unique.

Adamclyde imagine a bundt cake pan. It would look like a mold for a doughnut. You would cut through the center of the mold, fold it back over itself then carve out the center of the mold leaving you a tube. You then cut the tube for the angle you want. Still don't get it do you. It is a visual thing and I have never taken photos along the way. Next one I make I will photo the trip

Wow Ron, this is pure art and the coloring is out of this world. I really enjoyed thumbing through your projects this morning. Thanks for the inspiration and showing us all the potential of wood as a medium for art.

Eric I did make one of these from alabaster too. It did not turn out as nice. I might have to post this here.
