Wood And Materials Used
Repurposed Oak

Old entertainment centers are getting hard to find. (Solid wood ones). I was gifted one if I moved it so I nabbed it for the wood. Took 3 men to get this thing out of the house and on my trailer. At my shop I was by myself and had to take it apart to get it off. While doing so I saw that it was built in 2 pieces. I suddenly saw a good candidate for a great Food Pantry.
Used a lot of old paint I had. cost me about 45 bucks out of pocket for some glaze and clearcoat.

Good save. Those repurposed projects are very satisfying. I like the altered base. Nice job...

Thanks Tim and yes they are. Good eye you got there. I actually got photos of cutting them out but failed to mention it. The front piece came from the larger part of the 2. You most likely saw why in that second photo above.

Nice looking cupboard. Our TVs outgrew our entertainment centers. A pantry should be useful for a longer time.
