Thanks
I installed it on the wall to the left of the door.
These where led lights from Lowes.
there is a plug over the doors I wired in before I installed the door trim.

Nice idea! Usually I have seen the light on the inside, but this is a great twist on the lighted cabinet. I like it!

You really made those look lovely with your installation! We're certain she was absolutely delighted with the results.

We have a door between our upper and lower levels with a light over it but it is exposed on both sides of the door to help with lighting. Here are a couple of pictures of it (difficult to photograph because of confined space):

The glass in our door is obviously not so elegant as the ones you installed. (The door was installed for privacy when we used to have frequent ministry guests.)

We also have lighting over a bookcase which is more similar to your design. (Some day we hope to have leaded glass in the doors.)

Can't say I've prior seen lights like you installed over the door, but I can say I really like the outcome. Great looking accent for the glass panels. I think maybe you've created a new trend in accessorizing for a home. Super build.

This was her idea , I was only the builder but I do like the way it come out. She is having me install an archway in the same area out of red oak and she wants a light in the archway, I will post some pictures of that soon. This is a drawing …....
