Project Information

Some time ago I was working on a project that required lots of plywood cut with my track saw. The track saw was always used on a sheet of foam insulation usually laying on the garage floor. For this large project, I wanted to work at a standing-height to do my cutting. So the foam cutting board was set up in my workshop on some sawhorses.

It wasn't taken down right after the project and I found that the track saw was used far more often and my productivity increased. Unfortunately, the shop doesn't have space for a dedicated 4×8 cutting station. I built this folding table that gives me 3 different size options to work on.
It also has casters that allow it to roll around the shop in any of the 3 sizes. Now after a few months, I am so glad that I took the time to build it. I made a quick Youtube video for those that are interested. Watch it here.

I used double-sided carpet tape. This makes it easy to change out when needed.

Great ide, one of these days i will have to build something similar. I need to get a decent bench first, but this would be a God send to have as well.
