Project Information

A quick, easy project I did with my 7 yo son. I ripped the wood, but my kid did pretty much everything else. It still needs another coat of mineral oil, but I thought I'd share it now. We're going to give it to his mother as a "thanks for a great summer" present.
Oh- I got the idea from a PW magazine article. They used red oak, but I went with big box poplar. I thought the whiteish wood looked more bone-like.

That is a neat trivet. Someone else posted a fish trivet a while back and I forgot I was going to make one. What are the length/width dimensions of yours, please.

13"x8" -give or take a hair. I used 1/2" strips for the "bones".
