Project Information

Last week was my first trip into the shop for any work in awhile - just been too hot. This a little box that I made last week. It is about 3"x6"x3.25" tall. I don't recall the species of wood that I used for the box, just some scraps that I had lying around. The lid is hinged, with brass rods. Finish is Watco Danish Oil and some wipe on Poly. Didn't know what I was going to do with it until I brought it into the house and my wife told me that it was her box now :))

Nice box cajunpen..As the saying goes great things come in small packages. My wife wants me to make some smaller boxes but somehow they don't end up being small. I guess it is difficult to sculpt on a small scale for me.

Bill, this is another good looking box. I am sure this was another fun project that gave you a good excuse to get back into the shop.

I like the knot on top. Great little box. With the current weather, it's a great time for us to be in the shop, Bill. I just wish I wasn't so busy at work right now.
