Project Information
So, I have been watching Boris Khechoyan carve masterpieces for a while in the shop that I hang out in, and I decided to ask him if he would teach me to carve. Finished this just in time for my three year "anniversary" and I'm sure my girlfriend is going to be very happy!
His website, for those who are interested; the man is amazing at his craft, and I can only hope to be so good one day.
Edit: I came back to this project a few months later because the inside of the box was not all that useful as a jewelry box. I added some dividers and a drawer that slides on some ebony rails. I think it looks worlds better, and is much more functional.
